Who is a Mandated Reporter?
Mandated reporters are those persons who have been identified as being in a position, because of the work they do, to see children who have been abused or neglected, or children who are in danger of being abused or neglected.
Mandated reporters are required by either the Wisconsin Statutes [s.48.981, WI Stats.] or Governor’s Executive Order [EO #54] to report suspected child maltreatment.
